Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento is the foundation of Sutter Health, Northern California's largest health network with 29 acute care hospitals, more than 5,000 primary care physicians and specialists, home health, occupational health, psychiatric care and more. The downtown Sacramento medical center is made up of several facilities that include Sutter General Hospital, Sutter Memorial Hospital, and Sutter Center for Psychiatry.
Sutter General HospitalThe 306-bed specialty medical center focuses on general acute medical/surgical care as well as a medical base to advanced services for cancer, orthopedics, spine, and neurology and neurosurgery.
Sutter Memorial HospitalThe 346-bed specialty medical center focuses on cardiovascular services, transplants, and women's and children's specialty services.

The Sutter Center for Health Professions hosts the Sacramento City College Associate Degree Nursing Extended Campus. The campus is located at 2700 Gateway Oaks, Sacramento, CA 95833. This facility is also home to the Sutter Health University.
Community Health Needs Assessment
Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento (including Sutter General Hospital and Sutter Memorial Hospital) is dedicated to promoting a healthy community and meeting the health care needs of the diverse population we serve.
In 2013, Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento developed implementation strategy to address the significant health needs identified in the 2013 Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA).
