Designed to meet the growing health care needs of the greater Sacramento region, the Anderson Lucchetti Women’s and Children’s Center will be a 242-bed, nine story building that will provide innovative technology in a patient-focused environment.  It also will feature a life-saving helistop near Capitol Freeway, which will allow helicopters to transport severely injured and sick patients for treatment, mostly newborn and pediatric patients.

    • Anderson Lucchetti Women’s and Children’s Center will provide the highest level of neonatal and pediatric intensive care services, pediatric cardiac care, pediatric neurosurgery services, pediatric cancer services, and high-risk and conventional maternity services to families in 27 counties.
    • A freestanding, three-story skywalk will connect the Anderson Lucchetti Women’s and Children’s Center with the Ose Adams Medical Pavilion.
    • The Anderson Lucchetti Women’s and Children’s Center is named in honor of the generous donation from the Anderson Lucchetti family.  At $18 million, the Anderson Lucchetti contribution ranks as the single largest gift from an individual family to a capital campaign in the greater Sacramento area.
“The Sacramento region has been very good to our family. Its residents are friends, neighbors and customers. Being a part of an opportunity to give families access to the highest quality of medical care is a wonderful thing. Sutter Health makes this opportunity a reality, and we are also appreciative to the Sutter organization for the care and service they’ve provided our family for the past 80 years.”
