    Sutter Memorial Hospital
Sutter Memorial Hospital holds a special place in the hearts of many Sacramentans. As the starting point in the lives of more than 300,000 babies, it’s no wonder. We want to make sure that we preserve the wonderful memories created and shared at Sutter Memorial as we move forward to the next chapter in our history. If you have a suggestion for preserving the memories of this special part of Sacramento history, please submit it here.

We have not made any decisions regarding the future use of the Sutter Memorial Hospital site, and its future will be determined in close consultation with the City Council and East Sacramento neighborhood leaders. Sutter Health is committed to redevelopment and reuse of the site, which would not increase traffic intensity above existing levels.
