Royce and Dolly – Loyal Donors Attribute Longevity to Sutter
An abdominal aneurysm might have proved lethal for Royce, were it not for a corrective procedure that Sutter Health vascular surgeon Thomas C. Park performed. “I’m 85, and I shouldn’t have been here this long,” said Royce. He and wife, Dolly, have expressed their gratitude for their care at Sutter Health through decades of philanthropic support.

John’s dedication to Sutter Health spans more than three decades
One morning in 1990, John felt chilled to the bone, dizzy and short of breath. His gastroenterologist phoned to say bleeding ulcers were causing severe blood loss. He was hospitalized at Sutter General Hospital, where a transfusion quickly rejuvenated him. Though John has maintained a philanthropic relationship with Sutter Health since the late 1970s, the experience left him with greater admiration for Sutter than he already had. His generous gifts over the years cumulatively total in the mid-six figures.
