Join us March 8 for Donut Dash Seis!
The community is invited to participate or volunteer in Donut Dash Seis, a fun run that involves a four-mile walk, jog or run at William Land Park with a stop halfway to eat four doughnuts. One hundred percent of race proceeds benefit Sutter’s Child Life Program, supporting programs and activities that help children and their families cope with their medical experiences.
Donut Dash was created in 2010 by Zack Wandell, a Sutter Child Life Program volunteer and Sutter Medical Center Foundation board member. In 2013, more than 2,000 participants raised $40,000 to help the Children’s Center launch its Music Therapy program, which can help patients in a wide variety of ways, including pain management and diversion, relaxation response, emotional expression and more.
To register for the race as a participant or sign up as a volunteer, go to www.donutdash.org.
We hope to see you at the start line!
