2011 Sutter Indian Summer Golf Classic
The 2011 Sutter Indian Summer Golf Classic will be long-remembered as the wettest golf tournament ever!  The Indian Summer was nowhere to be seen at the Del Paso Country Club on October 10, as golfers and volunteers alike  were deluged by a major storm. The weather was so stormy that even the hardiest golfers threw in the (wet) towel and the tournament was called after nine holes.  Children served by the Sutter Children’s Center are the true winners, as the tournament and silent auction netted more than $78,000 to benefit the Sutter Children’s Center.   Thank you to all the sponsors, golfers and volunteers who helped us to achieve our goal.  A special thank you to the Del Paso Country Club, which offered each foursome a free round of golf to make up for the shortened tournament!
