2008 Hard Hat Ball
The Hard Hat Ball, presented by McCarthy Building Companies and benefiting Sutter Children’s Center, took place on Saturday, May 17, 2008. This successful event hosted in a brand-new venue netted more than $60,000 to support the Sutter Children’s Center.

On a hot Sacramento evening, more than 300 people gathered under the stars, atop the new, eight-story Sutter Community Garage. Guests sampled a wide variety of foods, catered by Paragary’s Restaurant Group, along with wine courtesy of Rail Bridge Cellars and desserts from Rick’s Dessert Diner. The Spiders provided the music and, once the Delta breeze arrived, the dance floor filled with revelers who danced the night away.
