Activities include stroke education, fun and games, dancing, physical, speech, and occupational therapy and time for relaxation. The camp also offers a swimming pool and a variety of outdoor activities including tennis, horseshoes, volleyball, basketball, hiking and more. Memory Clinic
Funding Need: $55,000
One in eight people age 65 and older have Alzheimer’s Disease. More than 5 million Americans are living with the disease and millions more are battling other forms of memory impairments.
Enhancing the quality for those with Alzheimer’s Disease and other memory impairments is the goal of Sutter Neuroscience Institute’s Memory Clinic. A team of medical experts works together to provide a coordinated approach to the evaluation and treatment of memory loss.
Although there is no cure for Alzheimer’s and other memory problems, having a diagnosis is often a wonderful feeling for families because they can take action to prepare for worsening symptoms and make plans for the future. Your support will help continue the great strides made in preserving memory and improving the quality of life for people suffering from memory impairments.

STAND Clinic
Funding Need: $55,000
One in every 142 American children is diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). As these children grow to adulthood, there are few medical resources available to them and their families. Autistic adults have unique challenges as they mature, including communication, caring for themselves and significant medical and social challenges.
As the only Clinical Autism Treatment Program in the Sacramento Region and one of the only programs in California, the Sutter Transition for Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders Clinic (STAND) takes great pride in treating an underserved population with compassion and clinical excellence.
We serve ASD patients 18 years and older with autism and neurodevelopmental disorders and their families and/or caregivers. Your gift will help us continue to offer this monthly clinic, which serves this unique and growing population to improve their quality of life.
