Sutter Center for Psychiatry

 Whether a patient receives care through inpatient or partial hospitalization services available at Sutter Center for Psychiatry or our outpatient services at Sutter Counseling Center, the emphasis remains on dignity and compassion in all aspects of care. We provide services to children from age 5 to elderly patients through a spectrum of care that allows each person to find the level of care needed to return to an active, healthy life. We encourage family members and significant others to participate in each patients care by taking part in education services, therapy and support groups.

Accreditation
Sutter Center for Psychiatry is licensed by the State of California and accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. Sutter Center for Psychiatry includes an outpatient service, Sutter Counseling Center, which provides service via contract with Sacramento County. Sutter Center for Psychiatry is recognized by most insurance providers (see covered health plans).
