Partial Hospitalization
Child & Adolescent Services
Sutter Center for Psychiatry
Services Partial hospitalization programs parallel the inpatient child/adolescent programs and offers intensive care for children who do not require the 24-hour care provided in the acute inpatient setting. Partial hospitalization is less restrictive in that it allows the staff to work with the child and family while the child is living at home. These programs provide a structured environment of warmth and consistent limit setting in which the young person can resolve the immediate crisis and begin to develop self-confidence, self control, self direction, problem solving skills and responsibility for his/her own actions. Educational assessment and a hospital school program are important parts of the partial hospitalization program.
Program Hours: Weekdays, 8:00 a.m. - 2:15 p.m.
