Quilts Fight Breast Cancer
The Breast Cancer Quilt Auction is a community service project to raise funds for Sutter Cancer Center’s breast cancer research and patient treatment programs. In total, more than 1400 quilts and art quilt pieces were donated to the three prior auctions providing over $300,000 for the Cancer Center programs.
This is a unique opportunity for individuals to support the Sutter Cancer Center’s breast cancer programs. Hundreds of beautiful quilts ranging from traditional bed quilts to contemporary art quilts suitable for framing will be at auction. These quilts were made and donated by Northern California quiltmakers and all proceeds benefit the Cancer Center. Many of the quilts were made to honor a loved one lost to cancer or in celebration of the quilter’s personal successes in overcoming this disease.
