Before licensure, clinical training for pharmacists is extremely intensive. Using the latest technology, pharmacists provide individualized review of a patient's medication therapy including dose management and regimen review. Areas of specialty include pharmaceutical management for critical care, ambulatory care, internal medicine, neurology, oncology, geriatrics, pulmonology, cardiology, pharmacokinetics, pediatrics, nephrology, orthopedics, transplants, and high-risk neonatal patients.
