Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento provides advanced inpatient and outpatient pulmonary services to patients of all ages. Newborns and children are served at Sutter Memorial through the Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care Units. Additionally, they also service the Cardiac Open Heart patient population and emergency patients. Adult services are available primarily at Sutter General Hospital, which provides ventilator services, in addition to delivering support services to emergency patients. Conditions treated include asthma, emphysema, chronic bronchitis, lung cancer and lung conditions that result from trauma.

Outpatient services include diagnostic pulmonary function testing to assess pulmonary disease and therapeutics to treat conditions.
